Englewood Area Information

Englewood is located on Lemon Bay, off the coast of the Gulf of Mexico between Sarasota and Charlotte Counties. Englewood has four beautiful beaches bordering the Gulf of Mexico.

Englewood enjoys an average year-round temperature of 72 degrees and the waters in the Gulf will rise to a high of 89 degrees in the month of August. The winter low in Gulf waters averages about 70 degrees. Most of the year's average rainfall of 60 inches comes in the summer months.

Known as the "Gem of the Suncoast," Englewood's beautiful climate offers many year-round recreational activities including swimming, sunbathing, boating, fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling and hiking to name a few.
